Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother : Story

Once upon a time, in a far-off kingdom, there lived a beautiful girl named Cinderella. Her father, a wealthy merchant, adored her and tried to give her everything she wanted. However, her mother had died, leaving her with a stepmother and two stepsisters, who were cruel and mean to her.

Cinderella was forced to do all the household chores, from cooking and cleaning to doing laundry and sweeping floors. She was always dressed in rags, while her stepsisters wore beautiful gowns and jewels. Despite her hard life, Cinderella remained kind and gentle, and often dreamed of a better life.

One day, the king announced that he would hold a grand ball at the palace, inviting all the eligible maidens of the kingdom. Cinderella was overjoyed at the news, but her stepsisters taunted her and said she was too ugly and poor to attend. However, Cinderella’s fairy godmother appeared and transformed her rags into a beautiful gown, and her worn-out shoes into glass slippers.

“Remember, my dear,” said the fairy godmother. “You must be home by midnight, or the spell will be broken.”

Cinderella arrived at the ball, and all heads turned as she entered. The prince himself was entranced by her beauty and grace, and asked her to dance. Cinderella was overjoyed, and they danced together all night long, lost in each other’s company.

As the clock struck midnight, Cinderella remembered the fairy godmother’s warning and fled from the palace, losing one of her glass slippers on the steps. The prince was heartbroken, but determined to find the mysterious girl who had stolen his heart.

The next day, the prince sent his servants throughout the kingdom to find the girl who had worn the glass slipper. The stepsisters tried to squeeze their feet into the slipper, but it was too small for them. When they saw Cinderella’s foot, which fit perfectly into the glass slipper, they knew they had been defeated.

The prince arrived at Cinderella’s house, and the stepsisters tried to prevent her from trying on the slipper. However, Cinderella put it on, and it fit perfectly. The prince was overjoyed, and recognized her as the girl he had danced with at the ball.

Cinderella and the prince were married in a grand ceremony, and they lived happily ever after. Her stepsisters were left to ponder their cruelty, and Cinderella forgave them for their behavior.

As for the fairy godmother, she watched over Cinderella and her family, always ready to offer a helping hand when needed. And so, Cinderella’s story became a legend, inspiring generations to believe in magic, true love, and the power of kindness.
